Tasting Notes

A nose of blackberry, blueberry, and cherry fruit emerges from the glass alongside notes of vanilla, baking spice, violets, rain washed stone, and a subtle hint of star anise. Opulent layers of blackberry and cherry cordial coat the palate and are tempered by notable acidity, which allows this wine to maintain a sense of balance and freshness and which also provides great space for secondary flavors of black pepper, cacao, Cavendish tobacco, and organic earth. This wine is approachable yet complex and gives both the novice and connoisseur a reminder that wine should be first and foremost about unabashed enjoyment.
