2023 Nicholson Jones Dolly Hill Chardonnay

Our 2023 Wooden Dolly Carneros Chardonnay was fermented and aged 21 months in new French oak before bottling; another 12 months in bottle ensured full integration before release. The unmistakable notes of fine French oak leap from the glass, infusing fragrant beeswax, honey and petrichor with its elegant aromas. In the mouth, ripe Asian pear and baked golden apples build a lushly fruited core, lifted by balanced citrus acidity, lemon pith, and mixed baking spice. Round, rich and spicy, the midpalate glides into a fragrant finish of quince paste, kola nut, and apple pastry.
